Flex Notepad keeps everything you write on your own device. It has no account, no servers, and collects nothing about you.
Effective 22 July 2026 ยท applies to the Flex Notepad Android app
None. Flex Notepad does not ask you to sign in, does not create an account, and does not gather your name, email, location, contacts, or device identifiers. We have no servers, so there is nowhere for your information to be sent.
Every note you write โ its title, text, and timestamp โ is saved in a private database on your device only. Your appearance settings (theme, accent colour, and background choice) are stored the same way. This data never leaves your phone, and we cannot see it.
Two features open your phone's built-in file picker:
.txt file. The app reads only the file you select and saves its contents as a new note. The app can only ever see the one file or photo you deliberately pick. It cannot browse your gallery or storage on its own, and nothing you pick is uploaded anywhere.
Flex Notepad works fully offline. It does not transmit any data over the internet, and it requests no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or accounts.
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. It is safe for users of any age.
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
